How accurate is the OCR really?
For printed menus, expect 95%+ accuracy on dish names and prices on the first pass. Handwritten menus, low-light photos, or unusual layouts may need a quick edit pass — which is why the review step exists. You're always in control of what gets published.
What happens to my data?
Your menu data lives on a single, dedicated server we operate end-to-end. We don't sell it, train models on it, or share it with anyone. You can export everything as JSON or delete your account permanently in two clicks.
Do I need to bring my own designer?
No. Every theme is hand-crafted by people who care about how menus should look — typography, hierarchy, spacing, color contrast. Most kitchens pick a theme + palette in under five minutes and never touch it again.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The customer menu is a Progressive Web App — once a guest opens it, it caches locally and works even on the spotty Wi-Fi most restaurants live with. The owner-facing app also works offline for editing.
What languages do you support?
Out of the box: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Persian, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean. RTL is fully supported. Custom languages can be added on request — usually within a week.
Can I host this on my own domain?
Yes, on the Maison plan and above. Point a CNAME at us, we provision a Let's Encrypt cert automatically. Most setups go live in under ten minutes.
